Dear Future Filmmaker / Animator,

The Singapore Disability Sports Council (SDSC) is holding its first student video and animation competition this year, in conjunction with an awareness campaign it will be launching in July.

This video and animation competition aims to spread the awareness of disability sports and build public support for local disabled athletes through the help of those who are passionate about creating messages which can bring about a change in people's lives.

we believe you can give us a voice and help us be heard.

Experiment with the vast matrix of disability sports and challenge yourselves to popularize a topic which is frequently neglected by the local media.

Being a charity organization, we can merely offer 20 of the most powerful messages to be screened on plasma screens outside Cathay cinemas in July.

We are also in talks with TV Mobile to showcase your works as part of the awareness campaign.

But, ONE work will surpass the others to be selected as the winning entry and if you or your team produced this work, pack your bags ready for a 3D/2N stay in Kuala Lumpur. We will provide accommodation, coach travel and even take care of your food! What's unique is that you will get to attend the FESPIC Games Opening Ceremony as well, and join us in cheering Singapore’s athletes on!

Equivalent to the Asian Games for the disabled, the FESPIC Games 2006 will see the largest contingent ever from Singapore. This will also be the last FESPIC Games ever.

Show your skills and play a part for Singapore. Complete the registration package and send it to us by 31 May 2006.

Do read the submission guidelines and terms of competition carefully.

We look forward to seeing your masterpiece!
